A blog can be like a news article but they are really different in many ways. People may blog about news or what has been happening in the world. News articles are informative articles that tell you what happened in an event or what has been happening lately and also what has happened in the world, local, or in the nation. A blog is about anything that you would like it to be about. For example, a blog can be about what you did, saw, read, feel, etc. Blogs are mostly a short summary of things that have happened or what is coming up. Blogs and News articles may sometimes be related but they are really different.

Twitter is a website in which people can find other people like celebrities, politicians, groups/organization, or just friends and see what they are up to. People follow each other to see what they are working on or doing at the moment. The benefits of having a twitter account is to know what is going on. Twitter is like an informative/social place where you can tell people stuff about what you feel or basically anything. Some people like Barack Obama, Sarah Palin, Hillary Clinton, John McCain, and also Joe Biden are all on Twitter.

Before building a website on iWeb, you want to have an idea of what the website will have or display. If you were to create a website out of scratch, you would want it to have everything. Now this would take a lot of time to do if you were to make it out of scratch. This is why you have to plan it out before you create your website. Before creating your website, you want to have an outline of what your website will contain. You make up user requirements also so that you know what the people that visit your website will be able to do. These things are very important in trying to create any website on iWeb.

News Alerts are very useful. As for the ones who may not know what News Alerts are, they are recent news that you may be interested in. For example, if you were to have a Google account or Gmail, then you could receive news alerts in your e-mail to catch up with topics that interest you. You may want news alerts about politics so that you may know what is going on with any new politicians or elections that are coming up. A person would use them to stay on top of what is happening in the world. You may want to know what is going on in your country or where you are living. If you were to know this, then you may inform other people who don’t know or also just to learn on what has happened.

NY-Times vs. The Daily Beast

The New York Times are very similar but have their own differences. For Example, The Daily Beast is like a blog site about daily news. On the Other hand, The New York Times has news information on things that have happened in the city New York or around the world. The New York Times has a broader amount of news and goes into little details that The Daily Beast may not have. The Daily Beast is short and to the point and The New York Times goes into every little thing in the news.

Scientist at the Rochester Medical center have found out that the dye used in blue M&M’s, have helped spine injuries in rats. The only side effect are that the Blue dye makes the rats skin turn blue temporarily. The experiment must have been funny in finding blue skinned rats with a blue dye. Also, another cool fact is that if this blue dye makes rats skin turn blue temporarily and helps spine injuries, imagine what it might be able to do with humans.

On thursday at 6 P.M., a “meeting” between Henry Louis Gates Jr., the officer who arrested him, and also the President of the United States Barack Obama will be held at the White House. Many reporters and news have been bringing this meeting up and making a big deal about it because of one fact….. The president and the people at the meeting will be drinking beer. The news is just trying to make the President of the United States look bad. I feel that the President can do whatever he wants as if it were his real home. If the president were a serious alcoholic, then that would be a different story. Everyone should leave this meeting alone.

Six Gang Members in Montgomery County MD Charged with Murder

Christian Salmeron, Hirbin B. Guerrero, Jose A. Hernandez, Deshaun Budd-Bey, Jose Vasquez, and Kevin Miranda are being charged with 1st degree murder. After killing Edwin Umana with a stab to the head. Gangs are now killing a lot of innocent people just for anting to cause trouble. This news reminds me of an incident that was caused with a friend of mine who was a Freshman like me from my school. His name was Tai Lam. After spending time with friends in Downtown Silver Spring, they got on a metro bus to go home. Some people who just wanted to cause trouble got off the bus and shot bullets back into the bus with guns. That week was a really hard for the whole entire school and also for me. I knew him since Middle school and it gave me a new view at life.

Sears Tower’s new glass balconies

I have always wondered about flying in the sky or just floating in the sky. Now knowing that there is a place where this is kind of similar to, I would like to go to the Sears Tower ,which is located in Chicago, to witness being “in the sky.” Now I know of one place that I would really want to visit because of the beautiful view at the Sears Tower. I wish they could do that here. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I’m afraid of heights so I would push myself towards doing this. Every time I am standing somewhere high up, I feel like I’m going to slip or fall or something thats supports me will break and I will fall. This is why I would like to face my fear at the Sears Tower.
